About this file
This document is an Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) issued by the State of Florida to establish a contract for one (1) King Air 350/360 CER Aircraft. The ITN includes questions and answers related to the aircraft specifications, delivery schedule, and contract terms. The aircraft must be delivered by May 1, 2024, though the delivery date may be adjusted based on the procurement process. The ITN does not require night vision goggles (NVG) or a searchlight, and allows the vendor to propose additional seating and modifications after delivery. The purpose of this ITN is to purchase the aircraft outright, not to lease it on a short-term basis.
Regarding pricing, the ITN refers to an "aircraft unit fee" which is detailed in Addendum No. 1. The state will provide coverage for the aircraft prior to the ferry flight. The ITN does not mention any set-asides, incumbent contractors, or funding requirements and sources.

Section QUESTION ANSWER
Also, the vendor is concerned about mounting it on a be350 due to the speeds involved.
Can this item be tabled until the back end spec is issued?
7.
The spec calls for nvg (night vision) avionics. That would be more for helo operations than a high flying fast mover like the be350. Is nvg really required and if so can it be updated post delivery?
This component is not a requirement for this ITN.
