About this file
This is an Immigration Certification form issued by Collier County, Florida's Procurement Services Division for vendors bidding on county contracts, specifically in connection with an Answering Service solicitation for the Public Utilities Department. The form requires all vendors to be enrolled in the E-Verify program at the time of proposal submission, with acceptable evidence consisting of either a copy of the completed E-Verify Company Profile page or a fully executed E-Verify Memorandum of Understanding. Vendors must attest under penalty of perjury that they are fully compliant with applicable immigration laws, including the 1986 Immigration Act and subsequent amendments, and with Florida Statutes 448.095. Failure to provide evidence of E-Verify enrollment will render a vendor's submission non-responsive and result in rejection.
Collier County explicitly states it will not intentionally award contracts to vendors knowingly employing unauthorized alien workers, as this constitutes a violation of Section 1324a(e) (Section 274A(e)) of the Immigration and Nationality Act. The county reserves the right to consider employment of unauthorized aliens by any vendor a violation of Section 274A(e) of the INA, which serves as grounds for unilateral contract termination. The form requires a duly authorized corporate representative to sign and certify the information provided. The related Answering Service contract for the Public Utilities Department has historically involved approximately $60,000 in annual expenditures, though this may not be indicative of future spending patterns.
