Text version

The State and Federal Surplus Property program seeks bids for the replacement of batteries in two (2) forklifts, including installation. The forklifts are Toyota electric forklifts, model 7FBCU30. Bids are to include the batteries themselves, as well as the labor to change the batteries and make the forklifts operational. There are water fill systems that are currently on the old batteries that would need to be moved to the new batteries. All work would need to be completed at the Surplus Property warehouse located in Salem, OR. To aid in logistics, batteries can be shipped directly to this warehouse prior to installation if necessary. If there are any core charges or value to the old batteries, they must be applied to the cost of the new batteries. Vendor will be responsible for removal and disposal (recycling) of the old batteries.
