About this file
This document is a Delivery Schedule for FCI McDowell Food Service that outlines comprehensive requirements for food product deliveries. Vendors must deliver palletized goods Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., excluding federal holidays, on a first-come, first-served basis. Strict temperature controls are mandated: non-frozen perishable foods must be delivered between 34-40 degrees F, while frozen foods must be at 0 degrees or below, with any items showing signs of prior thawing being automatically refused.
The document specifies additional critical delivery conditions, including mandatory marking of Certified Religious Diet items, rigorous specification compliance, and potential inspection periods. Vendors face significant penalties for non-compliance, including potential removal from future bid solicitations. Deliveries are subject to a six-business-day conditional receipt period for examination and testing, with unacceptable items requiring vendor pickup within two weeks at the vendor's expense or risk disposal. Contact persons for delivery details are the Food Service Warehouse Supervisor, Mr. Greer (ext. 7635), and Jermaine Jackson, FSA (ext. 7390).
