About this file

This document is a Delivery Schedule for FCI McDowell Food Service that outlines comprehensive delivery requirements and expectations for food vendors. Deliveries are permitted Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., excluding federal holidays, on a first-come, first-served basis. Vendors must strictly adhere to specific temperature requirements: non-frozen perishable foods must be delivered between 34-40 degrees Fahrenheit, while frozen foods must be at 0 degrees or below. All deliveries must be palletized, and Certified Religious Diet items must be properly marked.

The document details rigorous inspection and acceptance protocols, with items subject to a six-business-day conditional receipt period for examination and testing. Vendors failing to meet specifications will have their products refused, and they must retrieve rejected items at their own expense within two weeks or risk disposal. Failure to comply with delivery schedules may result in removal from future bidding opportunities. Contact information for the Food Service Warehouse Supervisor and a Food Service Administrator is provided for additional details and driving directions.
