About this file
The document is a Food Delivery Schedule for the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) McDowell for the 4th quarter of Fiscal Year 2025, detailing specific delivery requirements and performance expectations for food service vendors. The schedule mandates deliveries to be made Monday through Friday between 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM, with strict temperature control specifications: non-frozen perishable foods must be delivered between 34-40 degrees F, and frozen foods at 0 degrees or below. Vendors must palletize all deliveries, and Certified Religious Diet items must be appropriately marked.
The associated federal contract opportunity (Solicitation Number 15B12225Q00000013) is issued by the Department of Justice Bureau of Prisons for food subsistence bids. Evaluation criteria include past performance, socio-economic status, overall price, and delivery schedule, with greater emphasis on past performance and delivery reliability. Vendors must submit precise calculations for case counts and pricing, and those with delivery issues may be placed on a "do not award" list for future solicitations. Bids should be emailed to jriffe@bop.gov, with additional questions directed to j1jackson@bop.gov or r3mullins@bop.gov. Vendors failing to meet specifications risk being excluded from future bidding opportunities.
