STATEMENT OF WORK
The Federal Maritime Commission’s Bureau of Trade Analysis has a requirement for an annual subscription to U.S. port import and export aggregated data service delivered via FTP. Data shall be delivered on a calendar month basis. The period of performance will be September 29, 2014 to September 28, 2015.
The requirements of the aggregate data service are:
· Data shall be provided in Microsoft Access 2003 format or in a format that conforms to the format of the existing FMC database.
· The monthly data will be provided within eight weeks after the end of each calendar month.
· The data shall include:
· All imports and exports to/from U.S.
· All steamship lines to be provided in both name and standardized 4-character codes.
· All vessel names
· All U.S. Ports
· All countries and foreign ports
· Commodity information to the 4-digit level using Harmonized codes and descriptions.
· Cargo volume in TEUs and metric tons
· Conflag (whether a shipment is containerized or not)
· Refrigerated cargo flag
· NVOCC cargo flag Additionally, the contractor shall provide:
· The appropriate look-up tables for all codes used, such as shipping lines, and U.S. and foreign port codes.
· Limited technical assistance on an ad hoc basis, to include answering any FMC users’ questions about the provided data, and answering other inquiries of a technical nature.
Once delivered to the FMC, the data will be considered property of the FMC for the purpose of report compilation and the development of a historical library.
