About this file
This document is an Addendum to the Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) issued by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) for a Mobile Data Computing (MDC) solution. The addendum provides clarifications and answers to questions received from vendors regarding the specifications and requirements outlined in the ITN.
The key details include the Department's preference for a minimum 12th generation processor, the inability to disclose the list of applications due to security reasons, and the requirement for the awarded contractor to provide hardware refreshes at contract renewal. The addendum also addresses questions related to the use of existing vehicle mounts, model changes during the contract term, RAM requirements, and screen size specifications. The Department confirmed that it does not intend to modify the mandatory specifications in the ITN and that minor modifications to the contract terms and conditions may be discussed during the negotiation phase.
