About this file

This is Addendum No. 1 to ITB-028-25 from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) regarding Push-PIT Bumpers, issued on October 8, 2024. The addendum modifies Section 9.0 of Attachment B, Scope of Work, to require the contractor to provide additional Push bumper units when new Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) vehicle models are added to the fleet, with pricing to remain the same or similar to originally agreed-upon prices. The contract has an initial term of three years with a potential renewal term of up to three years.

The addendum addresses vendor questions regarding pricing for Dodge Charger models, which are currently not in production but expected to resume in 2026. The Department clarifies that TBD pricing is not acceptable and vendors must project costs for the full potential six-year period. Additionally, the Department has accepted Federal Signal DFC Push Bumper Series as an equivalent brand to Westin equipment. Any product modifications or additions will be handled according to Attachment C, Additional Terms and Conditions.

Can we submit with TBD for these items and provide a percentage discount off MSRP?
