About this file

This document is an Addendum to Invitation to Bid FLHSMV-ITB-028-25 issued by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, Florida Highway Patrol. The ITB is for the procurement of Push Bumpers, Pursuit Intervention Technique (PIT) Bumpers, and related accessories. The Addendum modifies the Scope of Work, allowing the Contractor to provide additional Push Bumper units for new Florida Highway Patrol vehicle models that are added to the fleet during the contract term. The Addendum also addresses vendor questions regarding pricing for Dodge Charger models that are not currently in production, as well as the Department's process for accommodating changes to vehicle models and SKUs over the multi-year contract term.

The contract term is for an initial three (3) year period with the option to renew for up to three (3) additional years. The Department cannot accept "to be determined" pricing, and the Contractor is responsible for projecting costs for the full contract term. The Department has accepted Federal Signal DFC Push Bumper Series as an equivalent brand to the Westin brand originally specified.
