About this file

The document is a Human Trafficking Attestation form prepared for the Flagler County Board of County Commissioners, a governmental entity in the State of Florida, in compliance with Section 787.06(13) of the Florida Statutes. The form requires a nongovernmental entity to provide a signed affidavit affirming that they do not use coercion for labor or services when executing, renewing, or extending a contract with the county government.

The attestation specifically defines coercion broadly, including actions such as using physical force, restraining individuals, establishing exploitative debt, destroying immigration documents, causing financial harm, or using fraud to entice workers. The nongovernmental entity must declare under penalty of perjury that they do not engage in these practices, with an additional requirement to immediately notify the governmental entity if any such coercive practices are implemented in the future. This form appears to be a standard compliance document for the Elevator Maintenance contract opportunity, ensuring ethical labor practices for vendors working with Flagler County.
