About this file

This document is a bid award notification from the Florida Keys Electric Cooperative Association, Inc. (FKEC) dated February 18, 2025, for Bid #25-03 involving a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System upgrade. The contract has been awarded to Minsait ACS, Inc. for unspecified system improvements. The cooperative indicates that this was not a public bid opening, and they are withholding specific details about the winning proposal.

FKEC explicitly notes that under Florida Statute Title X, Chapter 119, they do not meet the definition of a "state and local government agency" and therefore are not subject to certain statutory enforcement requirements. The organization reserves the right to protect the privacy of their bidders and vendors, citing the ability to maintain confidentiality under the "Sunshine Law". No specific pricing, contract terms, or detailed scope of work are provided in this document, which appears to be a formal notification of contract award.
