About this file
This document is a Change Order Notice from the Chief Procurement Office for General Services in Illinois. It details an extension to a contract for Teleserve Interactive Voice Response (IVR) server relocation and maintenance services between the Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES) and a vendor. The current contract is set to expire on June 30, 2024, but due to delays in approving vendor Statements of Work, the relocation process will require additional time. IDES is seeking to extend the contract through December 30, 2024 to allow the vendor to complete the relocation of the Teleserve servers from the Chicago Central Office to the Department of Information Technology Central Computer Facility in Springfield. Teleserve is an essential service that allows IDES claimants to certify and receive their unemployment benefits, and the Agency requires ongoing server support and maintenance to enable this process.
The change order is necessary due to circumstances that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time the original contract was signed. The extension is expected to cost more than $25,000 and extend the contract term by over 180 days, requiring the notice to be posted publicly. No other pricing details or set-aside information is provided in the document.
