Fire Extinguisher List.xlsx

This is a fire extinguisher inventory list documenting equipment located across multiple Veterans Affairs facilities in the St. Louis region. The list catalogs portable fire extinguishers by type, size, and manufacturer across nine locations: John Cochran Division, Jefferson Barracks Division, Hope Recovery Center, St. Clair CBOC, St. Charles CBOC, North County CBOC, Washington CBOC, Team #1 Primary Care Clinic, and Team #2 Primary Care Clinic. The inventory includes predominantly ABC-type extinguishers in 10-pound sizes manufactured primarily by Amerex, Buckeye, Kidde, Ansul, and Badger, with supplementary CO2 extinguishers in 10-pound and 15-pound sizes, smaller 2.5-pound and 5-pound units, specialty K-Class extinguishers in 6-liter sizes, and water-mist variants in 20-pound and 6-liter capacities. One entry also documents a 2.5-gallon K-Class unit at Jefferson Barracks.

This inventory supports the Performance Work Statement for annual fire extinguisher inspection and maintenance services at the St. Louis Veterans Affairs Health Care System (STLVAHCS). Annual maintenance is scheduled for January and must comply with NFPA 10 code requirements and manufacturers' operating standards, with technicians required to possess appropriate NFPA certifications. The comprehensive listing enables the contractor to understand the scope of equipment requiring inspection, hydrostatic testing, and service across the facility network during the annual maintenance cycle.
