About this file

This document is a Scope of Work (SOW) for annual and semi-annual Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) inspections at the FEMA Thomasville Federal Regional Center in Thomasville, Georgia. The SOW details two types of inspections: an annual major system check and a semi-annual minor check, which include comprehensive evaluations of the UPS system's electrical connections, battery system, physical condition, and operational parameters. The inspections require thermal scans of power connections, testing of converter and inverter transfer operations, battery system ohmic value measurements, and detailed visual and functional assessments of the UPS unit's components.

The scope of work specifies that all personnel must pass a background check before conducting work, and while labor and mobilization are included, replacement parts are not. Any additional parts and labor will be billed at time and material cost plus 15%. The inspections are designed to meet or exceed IEEE Standards and Battery Manufacturer's Recommendations, with the primary goal of ensuring the UPS system maintains clean power to critical loads in the server room. The service will be performed at the FEMA Thomasville FRC located at 436 S. Pinetree Blvd., Thomasville, GA 31792.
