About this file

This is a Federal Required Certification document related to a First Aid Materials & Supplies solicitation issued by Pasadena Parks, Recreation, & Community Services (PRCS) in California. The certification, based on 44 C.F.R. Part 18 and Appendix A, requires contractors to certify that no federal appropriated funds have been or will be paid to influence federal agency officers, members of Congress, or congressional employees in connection with the award of this contract. Contractors must ensure this certification language is included in all subaward documents at all tiers and that all subrecipients comply with the same requirements.

The certification serves as a material representation of fact required under section 1352 of title 31, U.S. Code, and submission is a prerequisite for contract execution. Contractors must have an authorized official sign and date the certification, acknowledging understanding that false statements are subject to civil penalties of not less than $10,000 and not more than $100,000 per failure, and that provisions of 31 U.S.C. Chapter 38 regarding administrative remedies for false claims apply. Contractors may be required to submit Standard Form-LLL if non-federal funds are used for lobbying purposes.
