Contractor Questions: 75F40120Q00113
1)With regards to requirement specification in FDA-RFQ-75F40120Q00113, page 3, can you please advise minimum absorbance requirement should be 3.2 in absorbance as opposed to 2.2 in absorbance as currently listed.
Minimum Requirements for Solar Light SPF Analyzer (or equal to): 1. Light source shall provide a continuous, full spectrum radiation from 250 to 475 nanometers (nm) 2. Shall measure at least 2.2 in absorbance
2) We have available simulator to pre-irradiate 4 or 9 plates simultaneously. Can you advise on requirement (i.e. 4 or 9 plates) or should we provide quotation for each system?
Please advise
Answers from FDA:
Absorbance listed in #2 should be 3.2 instead of 2.2. Also 9 plates would be preferred.
Additional Questions:
1) Thank you for the assistance. We have one additional question. In the Requirements section and Line 3 the bandwidth shall be less than or equal to 1nm.
Should Line 3 be less than or equal to 1.66nm and would that be ok.
Answer from FDA:
Yes bandwidth should be 1.66nm
PLEASE NOTE: THIS SOLICITATION CLOSES 4:00PM TOMORROW (SEPTEMBER 1, 2020), THEREFORE, THIS IS THE FINAL ROUND OF QUESTIONS ACCEPTED. FDA WILL NOT RESPOND TO ANY FURTHER
QUESTIONS.
