About this file
This document provides an addendum to the standard FAR 52.228-5 insurance clause for a solicitation seeking oil water separator services at McConnell Air Force Base. The solicitation requires bidders to carry workers' compensation insurance of at least $100,000, general liability insurance of at least $500,000 per occurrence, and automobile liability insurance of $200,000 per person and $500,000 per occurrence for bodily injury and $20,000 per occurrence for property damage. The addendum clarifies that the minimum insurance coverage is required for work on a government installation in accordance with FAR 28.310, and contractors may elect to obtain additional insurance for off-installation activities. The government will not indemnify contractors for any claims or liabilities incurred in contract performance.
