About this file
This document is the Bidder Current Environmentally Preferable Products / Practices Form for the FAC116 Lawns and Grounds Equipment, Parts and Services contract opportunity issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The form encourages potential bidders to communicate existing business practices that foster a sustainable approach to conducting their operations, as the Commonwealth considers such initiatives part of the "best value" of procurement. Bidders can receive additional points in the bid evaluation phase for the environmental initiatives they have identified, which may include corporate-wide sustainability policies, climate action plans, waste prevention and recycling programs, and other sustainable procurement practices.
The form requires bidders to provide details on their facility sustainability practices, such as using remanufactured toner cartridges, eco-friendly cleaning products, Energy Star or EPEAT certified equipment, on-site renewable energy generation, and recycling and composting programs. Bidders must also describe any environmentally sound shipping and transportation practices, staff training and customer education efforts, and product recycling programs. Additionally, bidders are asked to list any relevant industry certifications or environmental management system certifications they have obtained.

Bidder Company Name: _________________________________________ Date: _______________

Bidders must substantiate all answers in the space provided below or in an attachment in order to receive any additional points.
