About this file

This document appears to be a set of questions and answers regarding solar panel and battery requirements. The requestor is seeking specific solar panel and battery specifications, including: foldable or rigid panels that can be easily carried by one person, with a power output between 100-600W (with 200W being the industry standard), and pure-sine power output. The panels need to be mobile in the sense that they can be transported and set up at a location, but will remain stationary during use. The key focus is on obtaining batteries and panels that meet these mobility and power generation criteria.

Text version

1. Are you just needing the batteries and panels?

We only need batteries and panels.

2. Do the panels need to be foldable or rigid to be mounted on something?

Foldable panels would be ideal for this application, but if they aren’t too large to carry by a single person, rigid panels should suffice.

3. What is the desired power of the panels?

As far as power output, we want as high as possible, while still being mobile. 100- 600W output. Whatever is compatible with the power bank but for the size of power banks being requested 200W seems to be the industry standard.

4. What sort of power output is required?

We are looking for “Pure-Sine” power output. “Modified-Sine” will not work.

5. Is there a particular method in which the solar panels need to be mobile? For instance, do they need to be carried to a location and then set up? Or do they need to be mobile as they would be used?

The panels themselves need to be mobile in the sense that they can be picked up and moved to a set-up location easily, they won’t be getting moved once in use.
