About this file
This document is a Vendor Questions and Answers file for a Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Nuclear Weapons Center solicitation (FA940125Q0030) for Kiosk Fitness Management Software. The Q&A addresses critical technical and operational details about the procurement, including that the government already possesses the physical kiosk hardware and requires only software development. Key clarifications include the current system utilizing Google Sheets, plans to use commercial WiFi, and an intent to safeguard data from outside entities without using official government networks.
The document reveals the software must provide a secure digital sign-in interface for multiple service areas including Mental Health, Sports Medicine, Dietetics, Cognitive Performance, Aerospace Physiology, and Flight Medicine. Specific vendor questions address cybersecurity requirements, the definition of "secure" in the context of a storefront, and organizational details that will be disclosed at award time. The response deadline is set for 21 July 2025, with no current plans for extension, indicating the solicitation is in an active procurement stage.

- This information will be provided at time of award
3. What is the name of functionality of the current system that is being replace? Where is it located and what information technology architecture does it currently utilize?
- The current “system” was utilizing google sheets on the kiosks in the building.
4. The “Operating Constraints” section of the SON require adherence to “all relevant DoD and Air Force cybersecurity requirements”. Please specify the required DoD Impact Level for any solution in response to this requirement.
- We essentially want to ensure that data is safeguarded from outside entities. This system would not be on an official government system and would not be utilizing NIPR, but rather commercial WIFI.
5. The “Performance Objectives” section of the SON includes a requirement to, “Include a secure, integrated storefront to support booster club operations”. Please specify what is meant by the word “secure”. Does this mean that user information such as PHI and PII must be safeguarded as specified in Section 7 of the SON, or does it mean secure financial transaction processing?

- Answers are posted on 21 July 2025. No extensions to the response deadline are necessary at this time.
