AFIA Carpet Replacement Project
Ques�ons and Answers
1. Will the government require a bid bond?
Yes, the provision 52.228-1 Bid Guarantee has been added to the updated combined synopsis solicita�on.
2. Is the contractor required to replace furniture?
No, furniture will only need to be moved by the contractor in order to facilitate the replacement of the carpet.
3. Is there going to be a site visit scheduled for this project?
No site visit will be held for this project.
4. Will there be down �me between the three phases of the project?
There will be no down �me between the phases of the project.
5. How would you like your proposal submited?
Proposals may be submited directly via email or through sam.gov.
6. Could you please include an official plan that shows the rooms and a scale?
An updated layout has been posted.
7. There are two due dates listed, the 14th and the 15th, which one is correct?
A new due date has been issued and it is January 18th 2024.
8. The solicita�on cites the use of a quote sheet to submit quotes on but one is not provided. How would you like quotes to be submited?
The solicita�on has been updated and quotes may be submited on the solicita�on itself or on a separate document.
9. Should quotes be submited as a lump sum or with a price breakdown?
Lump sum is sufficient.
10. Is there a linear foot quan�ty for the base?
