NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE:
The 377 Mission Support Group Contracting Office, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico intends to award a sole source contract to Network Integrity Systems (CAGE 3FDY1), 1937 Tate Blvd SE, Hickory, North Carolina 28602. Network Integrity Systems has already installed two Protected Distribution Systems on Kirtland AFB that allows AFIT/EXA to connect to AFIA's servers and participate in the vendor's 24/7 service contract with AFIA. This will save $70,000 in up-front server costs, plus an additional $10,000 every year (beginning in Year 1) in 24/7 service-related costs.
This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b). The anticipated award date is 17 January 2024. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above.
A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
A Sole Source Justification Letter is posted with this Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source IAW Far 6.305(a).
