About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a Water Tower Treatment project at Nellis Air Force Base (NAFB). The Q&A covers ten detailed questions about equipment specifications and service requirements, including cooling tower details such as tonnage (60), cooling tower sizes (12 ft nominal, 6 ft louver), cooling loop volumes (300 Liters), and filter specifications (Parker, 10", 10 micron). The government-owned equipment includes chemical feed and control equipment, with cooling towers C030 and C031 confirmed to be in good working order and having a capacity of 38390 MBH. The service frequency is established as monthly, and the make-up water will be local city water. The document also includes guidance on past performance questionnaires, noting that while it's not required, offerors are encouraged to send questionnaires to points of contact and copy specific government email addresses.

NAFB Water Tower Treatment – Q&A
Question 1: The "Evaluation" section of the SAM.gov description states:
Past Performance: Each offeror’s PPIF will be reviewed and a Past Performance Questionnaire (PPQ), found at Attachment 4, will be sent to the identified POC/s found on each contractor or subcontractor’s PPIF. Using the information included in the returned PPQs, the Government will evaluate the quality of the performance of the contractor or subcontractor on each effort and will consider each past contract’s quality when evaluating overall past performance.
Is it acceptable for offerors to submit these questionnaires directly to past POCs and in advance of the submission deadline?
Answer 1: Yes, it is not required for the offeror to send the PPQ to the POCs listed on the PPIF, however it is highly encouraged. If the offeror chooses to send the PPQ to the POCs listed on the PPIF, please Cc both Jenna Jacobson (jenna.jacobson@us.af.mil) and Denina Hudson (denina.hudson@us.af.mil).
