Question 1:
Performance requirement 2.2 Deck Height adjustable from 10’ to 13’: Clarification—Is the requirement to only include two heights of 10’ and 13’ or all heights in between? The assumption is the platform would be pinned in place to the supporting structure prior to use. Should incremental opporutnity for pinning the platform be considered (i.e., 10’, 10’6”, 11’, 11’6”, 12’, 12’6”, 13’)?
Answer 1:
As far as incremental we did not specify exact stops as different modes of actuation present different options, Jackscrews vs hydraulic actuators the only thing I can suggest is that the vendor adapt his quote based on their particular actuator.
Question 2:
Performance requjireemnt 4. Modular Construction: Suggestion- to require a “shadow box” type shipping container to easily ship components and to easily identify all components, tools and manuals/instructions are present for shipping and assembly?
Answer 2:
As far as the shadowed shipping container again, that is the vendors option as I beliee the only requirement was for the unit to be modular to allow easy transport and assembly.
