About this file
This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for a fire truck water tanker repair contract opportunity at Edwards Air Force Base.
The asset requiring repair is a 2011 International 7400 fire truck with VIN #1HTWGAZT4CJ605374, equipped with a 4,000-gallon Pro-Poly America water tank (model GSO 8307). All repairs must be completed at the contractor's facility rather than on-site at Edwards AFB. The government has provided limited documentation, including a photograph of the vehicle identification plate and build number information visible on the attached manufacturer's plate. Additional information not available includes the tank serial number, manufacturer identification plates or labels, tank drawings, specifications, previous repair records, or other manufacturer documentation. Contractors responding with quotations should reference the GSO 8307 tank specification number from Pro-Poly America to ensure technically accurate and fully compliant proposals.
