STATEMENT OF WORK

This document was updated on Amendment 0002. It supersedes the previous version. All changes are in RED (see page 2). No other changes were made to this SOW.
1. SCOPE AND OBJECTIVE
The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Edwards AFB, CA, requests a proposal for work to be accomplished for the (MXG) for at Building 1220A within the western classroom. The work to be accomplished includes but is not limited to the following: Erect demountable walls, install doors for room access, Interior Finish each installed area.
2. PURPOSE OF THE DOCUMENT
This Statement of Work serves as a tool for recording customer requirements, ensuring that these requirements are met and evaluating the project design before installation begins. The overall objective is to establish a plan of action for defining and achieving desired results and goals.
3. REQUIREMENTS
Requirements statements in this section are organized for Building installation. The contractor shall accomplish the following:
4. SPECIAL INSTALLATION
Install Contractor furnished demountable walls, electrical outlets, doors.
Install 40' x 8' 10" contractor procured Center wall to separate office work area from existing classroom install contractor procured 14' x 8' 10" wall to create office area.
install power raceway for 6 each 110v outlets on 40' interior wall'
Install new 36" X 84" standard maple door for classroom egress, install new 3' X 7' standard maple door for new office egress, each door should be equipped with silver colored lever action lockable handles.
New installation to match existing structure with product laminate or cloth standard Tan or gray color.
See Appendix 1 for layout plans. The filled orange area room to be modified. The blue rectangles denote doors to be installed. Please print appendix in color.
5. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Contractor shall field verify all dimensions prior to installation.
Contractor shall always keep the area clean and remove all waste in a timely manner.
Repair/Replace any items damaged by the contractor employees and/or any sub-contractors while working on this project.
As this area is unclassified, no special security measures are required.
6. SCHEDULE
Period of performance is 90 days from award of contract.
Hours of operation are 0700 to 1600 hours 5 days a week Monday through Friday during the course of a standard business week excluding Federal holidays.
