Question Answer

Who is the current contractor and can we have the original bid price?

There is no current contract.

Can you please tell me if there will be a site visit scheduled?

Currently, no site visit is planned.

If one took place, can we please get a copy of the attendees?

A site visit was not previously held for this requirement

Please can you spell out the current required annual testings? The most common tests are Monitoring System

Certification Test and Annual Spill

Bucket Test.

Annual Monitoring Equipment Certification and Spill Bucket testing will be performed on all systems in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines or standards.

There are four (4) USTs, however, you have only called for annual tests to be done on three (3). So you are indicating that no annual tests will be done on the fourth UST?

One of our tanks is a split tank, which is one

UST with two compartments.

Three (3) Year Secondary Containment

Test (SB 989 Test) is required on each

UST every three (3) years. When was this test done on each of the tasks and where will we include this cost?

The three year secondary containment testing is not required. Edwards AFB USTs are exempt systems because secondary containment systems continuously monitor both the primary and secondary containment.

Is the annual test vacuum, or internal inspections?

No internal inspections are required.

Is the ICC California UST System

Operator license necessary if we have nation wide ICC instal/ retrofit license?

This testing will be conducted by individual that meets the following: a) Possess a current

Tank Testers License or appropriate CSLB license; b) Obtain training and certification from the monitoring equipment manufacturer and be recertified at the time interval recommended by the manufacturer, or every

36 months, whichever is shorter; and c)

Possess or work under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the work site who possesses a current

"California UST Service Technician" certification issued by the ICC by July 1, 2005.

Certification must be renewed every 24 months.
