Questions and Answers Furnish and Install Steel Sectional Doors

***Please note the proposal due date has been extended to 12:00pm (PST) on Wednesday, 13 July 2016.

A Revised SOW is being worked and is intended to be posted on the week of 27 June 2016. A new deadline to submit questions as a result of the new Revised SOW that will be posted is 12:00pm (PST) on Wednesday, 06 July 2016. Answers to those questions will be posted by Thursday, 07 July 2016.***

The following are answers to the questions received regarding the subject solicitation thus far:

Question 1. Are the 15'x16' doors 15' wide or 15' tall?

ANSWER: Two width dimensions at 16' wide and 15' wide. All doors are 16' tall.

Question 2. Are these doors standard lift?

ANSWER: Yes.

Question 3. Will rectangular windows be acceptable as long as they are the correct dimensions?

ANSWER: Yes.

Question 4. What will the voltage be that is required for the new operators?

ANSWER: 208V.

Question 5. Are there existing circuits available for the new doors? If not, is there available space in the breaker panel?

ANSWER: Yes, just need to run new circuits to new motors.

Question 6. Will the operators be 3/4hp or 1hp?

ANSWER: The SOW states in section 2.0 that they are to be 1hp and in section 3.2.2 it states that they are to be 3/4hp.

Question 7. Are Insulated Tempered Glass windows acceptable instead of Double Thermal Acrylic windows?

ANSWER: Yes.

Question 8: What make/model are the existing doors?

ANSWER: Thermacore Door Model 592 Heavy Duty Door
