The purpose of this Amendment 0001 is to incorporate Questions and Answers #1 under Attachment 1 of this amendment and extend proposal due date from 03 Jul 2017 2:00PM CST to 06 Jul 2017 2:00PM CST.

Except as provided herein, all terms and conditions of the document referenced in Item 9A or 10A, as heretofore changed, remains unchanged and in full force and effect.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS #1

21 June 2017

1. QUESTION: During the site visit, crack filling all cracks was discussed for SOW No. 14876 “Crack Seal Wattendorf”. While measuring, I discovered longitudinal cracks on Wattendorf Highway.

These cracks are along both white lines and center line as well. Shall we figure in our bid to re-stripe the thermoplastic striping or shall we avoid these cracks. The cracking on the thermoplastic is on the majority of the roadway.

ANSWER: Do not avoid these cracks. Fill as required per scope of work. Re-stripe or painting is not required.

2. QUESTION: There is not a specification for crack filling to include sealant. Could you please provide a spec for crack filling?

ANSWER: See Construction Specification for Paving IDIQ Section 03 30 00/Part 2.1/Para I. This applies to asphalt and PCC concrete.

3. QUESTION: Pertaining to SOW No. 14876, what is the minimum crack width to be filled on Wattendorf?

ANSWER: 2.5mm or larger.

4. QUESTION: Are proposals sent by email in PDF acceptable?

ANSWER: Attachment 7, Para. 2.3, Electronic Offers - Acceptable. PDF files are acceptable. As electronic offers cannot be placed in a binder by offeror when submitting offer electronically, all other parts of Attachment 7, Section L remain in effect and shall be followed.

5. QUESTION: When are proposals to be submitted by?

ANSWER: The proposal due date has been extended from 3 July 2017, 2PM CST to 6 July 2017, 2PM CST.

6. QUESTION: What are the duty hours that are available for work and does that include Saturday and Sunday?

ANSWER: From now until 15 Dec 2017, Gate 2 will be open from 5:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M., 7 days per week, to include Federal Holidays. Projects are to be completed within the defined period of performance for each task order. Weekend work is not mandatory.

7. QUESTION: Please define the start and stop points on Project 14876 Crack Seal Wattendorf for the base bid as well as the option.

ANWSER: See attached pages 1-4 to this document.

8. QUESTION: Pertaining to SOW No. 14876 – “Crack Seal Wattendorf”, is the crack sealant to be “Over-Banded” or flush with the service?

ANSWER: Flush

9. QUESTION: Pertaining to SOW No. 14876 – “Crack Seal Wattendorf”, does the estimated quantities include just the road lanes (between the white lines) or are the shoulders part of the totals?

ANSWER: Shoulders and centerline

10. QUESTION: Pertaining to SOW No. 14878 – “Seal and Stripe Main Café Parking Lot”, how many coats of Seal Coat is required?

ANSWER: 2 coats
