NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS
DEEP-SPACE ADVANCED RADAR CAPABILITY (DARC) PROGRAM
Virtual Technical Exchange Industry Day and Classified 1-on-1 Sessions April 13th, 2021 (Virtual Technical Industry Day) and April 14th, 2021 (Classified One-on-One Discussions)
The United States Space Force, Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC), Special Programs Directorate, Space Domain Awareness Division, (SMC/SPG) is conducting a Technical Exchange Industry Day for the DARC Program acquisition.
The DARC Acquisition Team and SMC Space Enterprise Consortium (SpEC) Consortium Manager (NSTXL) will host a virtual Technical Exchange Industry Day on 13 April 2021, from approximately 0900-1600 Mountain Standard Time. The purpose of this Technical Industry Day is to have a “technical exchange” with Industry on the DARC Program. Topics will include Tech Demo (progress status, challenges, lessons learned, etc…), Open Systems Architecture Specification, Government Referenced Architecture, as well as General Q&A.
The DARC Acquisition Team and SpEC Consortium Manager are planning an additional Industry Day near the end of April to the beginning of May 2021 to communicate key tenets of the DARC Program’s approved acquisition strategy. A separate notice will be sent for this subsequent and additional Industry Day.
In addition to the virtual Technical Exchange on 13 April 2021, the DARC Acquisition Team will be conducting One-on-One sessions on 14 April 2021 with prospective DARC Site 1 Prime System Integrator contractors. One-on-One sessions will be conducted by request via classified phone communication channels. Based on the number of requests, a second day for One-on-One sessions may be added. One-on-Ones will be limited to one (1) hour and will be held at the Secret classification level. Instructions to request a One-on-One meeting are included in Attachment 14.
The Industry Day and One-on-Ones will be conducted via Microsoft Teams. Questions asked, answers, and a list of attendees (name, company, and contact information) will be posted through SpEC OTA Consortium Manager communication channels. Information on the SpEC OTA Consortium and how to become a member can be found at https://space-enterprise.org.
REGISTRATION
All personnel interested in attending must pre-register by sending the information identified in Attachments 13 and 14 to smc.spg.darc@us.af.mil by April 9th, 2021, 4:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST).
