Livelink User Agreement Los Angeles AFB, CA

1 Applicability:

This user agreement for Livelink applies to all Los Angeles AFB users who will be using Livelink to access their official government documents. All users promise to abide by all of the rules and stipulations set forth in this agreement by signing this document.

2 Access Permissions:

The Livelink administrator will only enable Livelink access once the user has completed training and signed a Livelink user agreement.

3 Specific Agreements:

3.1 The user agrees that signing this document indicates that the user has read it in its entirety and will abide by all of the rules and stipulations set forth in this agreement.

3.2 The user agrees that when using a privately owned information system for official work, the system must employ antivirus software, government-owned sensitive information must remain on removable media, and government-owned sensitive information must be marked and protected according to the sensitive category (e.g., Privacy Act, For Official Use Only [FOUO], etc.) program directives. This includes systems maintained at a residence, services accessed, and information transportation method(s) (modem, Telnet, Webmail, and/or physical media used).

3.3 The user agrees that in no instance will any computer intended for mass public use (i.e. computers in cyber cafes, coffee houses, public libraries, etc.) be used for Livelink access. Documents on government systems are For Official Use Only and may contain Privacy Act or proprietary data not approved for public disclosure.

3.4 The user agrees that at no time is a wireless Internet Service Provider (ISP), including Blackberry, to be connected to the Livelink system.

3.5 The user agrees not to use the Internet browser or Windows feature to remember Livelink passwords.

3.6 The user agrees to report any classified document incident involving the use of Livelink immediately to the organizational

Information System Security Officer (ISSO). If it is after duty hours and the ISSO cannot be contacted, then the user agrees to contact 61 CS Network Control Center (NCC) Duty Officer at (310) 864-5061. If the Duty officer is unreachable, contact 61 ABG/CC, Command Post at (310) 653-3070 and ask to speak to a 61 CS representative.

3.7 The user agrees that if classified information is accessed with Livelink, the Livelink account will be disabled until the contaminated document(s) and affected system(s) are cleaned IAW AFSSI 5020, “Remanence Security” and AFI 31-401, “Information Security Program”. If the contaminated machine is personally owned, it will still have to be “sanitized” by the ISSO.

The government accepts no responsibility for loss of personal data or loss of or damage to personally owned equipment.

3.8 The user agrees to read and acknowledge the standard “U.S. Government System” banner when connecting to Livelink.

3.9 The user agrees to set the password-protected screensaver to activate after ten minutes of inactivity.

3.10 If the user suspects that their Livelink password has been compromised, user agrees to notify the organizational ISSO immediately.

4 Specific Understandings:

4.1 The user understands that log files of all Livelink access, attempted access, and intrusions will be maintained and regularly monitored.

4.2 The user agrees to contact the organizational Help Desk for all support issues. Issues that are not resolvable by the organizational

Help Desk will be referred to 61 CS/SCB, Network Control Center (NCC). NCC will either resolve the issue or refer it to a Livelink System Administrator.

4.3 The user understands that the government is not responsible for providing an ISP.

4.4 The user understands that some “free” and fee-for-service ISPs do not allow the use of their service for business or government purposes.

4.5 The user understands that all computers used to connect to Livelink are subject to all policies identified in AFI 33-202, “Network and Computer Security”, Chapter 4, “Use of Computer Systems”.

4.6 The user understands that this user agreement must be signed and turned in to the appropriate computer Help Desk prior to

Livelink access. The agreement will be on file for a period of one year following the user’s departure/PCS from LAAFB.
