About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document issued by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base addressing an inquiry regarding federal contract FA860126Q0126 for Project: Facility 10867.

The document clarifies a single inquiry regarding installation requirements. The contracting officer, Candice Snow of AFLCMC/PZIBA, confirms that full installation is not required for this contract despite conflicting language in Sections 1.0 and 2.1 of the Statement of Work. The actual requirement is limited to delivery of ancillary furnishings to the government facility. Per SOW Section 2.0, the contractor shall provide design services and project management services, receive products from manufacturers at a facility of their choosing with a maximum 30-day storage period, and deliver products to Building 867 at Wright-Patterson AFB on an agreed-upon date and time. The contractor must coordinate delivery with the government representative at least 2 weeks in advance. Delivery requirements include providing a liftgate for product unloading, with the government offering optional forklift assistance if available.

SUBJECT: Response to Inquiries regarding FA860126Q0126 - Project: Facility 10867

Questions:

1. Can you confirm that full installation is required for this request? Our local installation team is seeing some conflicting verbiage and would like me to confirm.

Answer: I see in Sections 1.0 and 2.1 of the SOW, it includes some mention of “installation”; probably the basis for the confusion. The requirement is only for delivery to our facility.

From SOW Section 2.0 Contractor shall provide ancillary furnishings as stated in this SOW. Contractor shall provide design services and project management services as needed to complete this project. Contractor shall receive products from the manufacturers at their chosen facility.

Maximum 30 days storage for product received. Contractor shall deliver products to Gov’t at an agreed upon date and time. Contractor shall coordinate delivery with gov’t representative 2 weeks in advance.

Product shall be delivered to Building 867. A liftgate is required to unload product. If available, the government can assist with the use of a forklift.
