About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document from the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) addressing inquiries regarding solicitation FA8601-26-Q-0092 for office furniture, issued on August 26, 2026. The inquiry responses clarify specifications and design elements for the OBL-USAF UC Phase 2 office furniture project (F20840 Project #2026TP112).
Key clarifications include: no DWG files will be provided, only the PDF plan; W1 panel dividers must be 74" monolithic or combination monolithic/stack, non-power, acoustic panels with wall mounting and Grade B panel fabric; W2 panels can be configured as a 58" panel with a 16" stack to achieve the required height; W3 clip descriptions should reference plan location; estimated desk run sizes are 24" x 72" based on available information; pedestal support should be split between worksurfaces as shown in the design; and corrected quantities have been updated in the SOW, with C1 requiring 21 units, C4 requiring 4 units, and T4 requiring 2 units. The document notes that the Independent Government Estimate (IGE) and plan were accurate, but the SOW contained errors and omitted two typicals that have now been corrected. The response was signed by Candice Snow, Contracting Officer for AFLCMC/PZIBA.

SUBJECT: Response to Inquiries regarding FA8601-26-Q-0092, OBL-USAF UC PH2 Office Furniture, F20840 Project # 2026TP112
Questions:
1. Are you able to provide a DWG for the plan / provide a clearer PDF of the furniture plan?
Specify the panel lengths you need?
Answer: No dwg provided for this project, only the PDF.
2. W1 calls for panel locations on plan but has no info in the description box for the panels. Please provide.
Answer: Panel Dividers: 74" Monolithic or combination Monolithic/Stack, Non-Power, Acoustic Panels, Wall Mounted, Gr. B panel fabric. See Plan for Locations and Dimensions.
3. W2 – Haworth cannot do a full height 74” panel. We can do a 58” panel with a 16” stack to meet that height, is this acceptable?
Answer: Yes
4. W3 says “See Plan for…” Is there something this should be calling out?
Answer: The clip should have said see plan for Location.
5. W3 are you able to tell us the sizes of these desk runs? A guess can be made from the PDF but would like to be as accurate as possible.
Answer: Based on the information available, the estimated size for the desk runs is 24" x 72". This is an estimate, as formal design drawings with precise measurements were not available.
6. For W3 Based on what I gathered from the drawing it looks like we want to split the PED between the worksurfaces to provide support. Is this the design intent?
Answer: yes, please split the ped for support.
7. When filling out paperwork, I noticed a discrepancy with the C1 quantity listed in the Clin sheet/SOW doesn’t match the attached drawing. Also the colors don’t coordinate with tag. Are you able to confirm the correct seating count for C1 & C2 Answer: The IGE and PLN were correct, but SOW was incorrect and also missing 2 of the typicals on the IGE and PLN. The following changes have been made:
SOW-Updated C1 - qty 21 C4 - qty 4 T4 - qty 2
The tags are correct, but please zoom into the plan to see some of the color codes are filled in and some are just colored outside the circle.
