About this file
This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document issued by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) in response to contractor inquiries regarding solicitation FA8601-26-Q-0025, Phase 3, Project ID 2025T, dated 3 April 2026.
The document addresses four key inquiries concerning furniture specifications and color options. Regarding the CH3 chair, the government clarified that "Snowfall" is an acceptable color option for both frame and trim, contrary to the original basis of design documentation that listed only "Fog" or "Pitch" for trim and "Pitch, Metallic Silver, Metallic Champagne, or polished aluminum" for frames. For the GS1 Guest Chair, the government rejected the proposal for all-black seats but indicated willingness to evaluate upholstery similar to the specification if close to requirements. The government declined a mesh seat substitution for the CH3 chair, stating that all mesh does not meet requirements. Regarding desk finishes, the government confirmed that per specification, option PO2 requires veneer finish while option PO1 permits laminate finish. All responses were provided by Candice Snow, AFLCMC/PZIBA Contracting Officer, with digital signature dated 26 June 2026.
