About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document from the Department of the Air Force's Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, addressing an HVAC duct cleaning project. The Q&A covers five key topics: work hours, occupancy during work, air diffuser removal, room access, and parking/unloading logistics. Work must be completed during normal business hours (6AM-6PM), with no personnel present as they will be teleworking during the 2-week performance period. Contractors are permitted to remove plastic air diffusers from the ceiling for vent cleaning, with instructions to set them aside for office staff to reattach later. The work area has no secure rooms, and contractors can access all rooms. A ramp on the building's far side is available for vehicle parking and equipment unloading, with an elevator providing direct access to the second floor.
