About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file dated 21 August 2025 for a federal solicitation (FA857125Q0109) seeking furniture and carpet for Building 321 at an Air Force location. The solicitation involves reconfiguring existing Herman Mills (MillerKnoll) workstation components and accessories, with a scheduled site visit prior to the quote due date of September 1.
The Q&A reveals that the government cannot currently provide specific details requested by potential offerors, including workstation floor plan drawings (though they indicate a floor plan will be attached), original installation details, part numbers for existing workstations, or additional site visit opportunities. Potential vendors are advised that the current scheduled site visit is the only one that will be offered during this solicitation, and they should prepare their quotes based on the limited information available.

For
Furniture and Carpet for Bldg. 321 (BAF 77933)
Solicitation: FA857125Q0109
Question: Do you have drawings of the current workstation/floor plan layout? Section 5.1 of the Purchase Description (Attachment 1) references a "Floor Plan for B321 dimensions" as an attachment. However, we were unable to locate this floor plan or any related diagrams within the provided solicitation files. Could you please provide a copy of the current workstation/floor plan layout drawings for Building 321?
Answer: Floor plan is herein attached via the document titled 77933 B321 Floorplan
Question: We understand that the project involves utilizing existing Herman Mills (MillerKnoll) workstation components, parts, and accessories to reconfigure new workstations. Could you provide information on when these existing workstations were originally installed, and possibly share the original contract number or any other relevant acquisition details?
Answer: The Government does not currently have the requested information available.
Question: To ensure proper compatibility and accurate planning for the modifications, could you provide part numbers for the existing Herman Mills (MillerKnoll) workstations and their components?
Answer: There is not currently a part number listing available.
Question: While a site visit is scheduled prior to the quote due date, would it be possible to arrange for an additional site visit at a later date after Aug. 22, but before the Sept. 1 submission deadline, should our team require a more in-depth assessment to solidify our comprehensive quote?
Answer: The Government does not currently anticipate offering an additional site visit for this solicitation. Offerors should treat the current scheduled site visit as the only site visit to be offered during this solicitation.
