About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for a federal Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation issued under FAR Part 12 and 13 for cleaning and painting services at Building 350's AMRAAM Breakroom.

The scope of work includes cleaning and painting concrete flooring, three 6'x7' double metal interior doors and frames (painted only on the side facing Room A127), and the entire ceiling at a height of 25 feet from the floor. The government has not specified final ceiling and platform colors; contractors may provide color options after award or reference specific colors in their proposals. All materials, paint, equipment (including scaffolding or scissor lifts), and debris removal and disposal are contractor-furnished. A site survey and room dimensions were provided to contractors to calculate square footage. Level 5 drywall finish is not required, and heavy metal dust abatement is not required. All electrical demolition or removal must be completed by a licensed electrician. Work must be performed during normal facility hours (Monday–Friday, excluding federal holidays) with hours posted in the Statement of Work. Contractors must provide an estimated period of performance. Quotes should include a description of work to be performed with pricing and may be submitted as either lump-sum or line-item format. The final quote due date is 20 May 2026. Government visitor passes will be arranged for contractor personnel, who must provide full names, dates of birth, driver's license numbers, and states. A government budget exists but will not be disclosed; award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable proposal. No incumbent or prior contractor is associated with this requirement.
