About this file

This is a request for proposals for C-17 ground handling engine trailers. The Air Force seeks a firm-fixed price requirements contract with three one-year options to acquire ground handling trailers used to transport aircraft engines. The basic contract is for 26 trailers including first article units, with a test plan and report. Option I is for 20 additional trailers, Option II is 18 trailers, and Option III is 18 trailers. The trailers interface with engine lift trailers to transfer aircraft engines between 57-inch rail heights. The RFP will be set aside for small businesses. Offerors must submit proposals by January 4, 2019 following instructions in the RFP. The RFP and attachments will be posted on FBO. The contracting specialist can be contacted with questions. The data is export controlled.
