About this file

This document is an official announcement from the Department of the Air Force Contracting Directorate at Hill Air Force Base regarding the cancellation of a planned solicitation. The announcement covers solicitation FA8224-25-R-0015 for Facilities Other Maintenance (FOM), which was originally anticipated to replace a previous cancelled solicitation (FA8224-25-R-0011) that was terminated on August 20, 2025.

Instead of releasing the planned solicitation, the government has decided to strategically integrate the FOM workload requirements into an existing, related contract vehicle. The announcement serves to inform interested parties that the expected solicitation FA8224-25-R-0015 will not be published as originally planned. The document is dated October 27, 2025, and digitally signed by a contracting official from the Air Force Contracting Directorate located at Hill Air Force Base in Utah.

ANNOUNCMENT: COMBINED SYNOPSIS/ SOLICITATION FA8224-25-R-0015 FOR

FACILITIES OTHER MAINTENANCE WILL NOT BE RELEASED

Following the cancellation of combined synopsis/solicitation FA8224-25-R-0011 for the Facilities Other Maintenance (FOM) Follow-on, which occurred on August 20, 2025, it was anticipated that a replacement solicitation, FA8224-25-R-0015, would be released to procure these services. However, this notice serves to inform interested parties that solicitation FA8224-25-R- 0015 will not be published as originally planned.

The government has undertaken a strategic review of its approach to the FOM workload and has determined that the most efficient and effective solution is to integrate these requirements into an existing, related contract vehicle.
