Industry Day Notification for
T-38 Structural Component Re-Engineering Program
SCOPE
The T-38 Program Office (PO) will host an Industry Day event on October 30th and 31st 2018 to discuss the United States Air Force (USAF) requirement for reverse and/or re-engineering eleven (11) bonded honeycomb structural components. To assist with acquisition planning and program strategy, the T-38 PO is interested in meeting with industry representatives to answer questions and receive feedback regarding this requirement and to allow industry a close-up look at the selected components.
BACKGROUND
Many T-38 bonded honeycomb structural components are proprietary to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The PO is exploring reverse and/or re-engineering select structural components to increase the sources of supply and reduce cost.
