About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for a Request for Information (RFI) regarding a Radio-Controlled Class 3 Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) Target Drone dated 8-19-2025. The Q&A provides specific technical requirements for a drone that must be an exact replica of the Shahed-136, with key specifications including a gas-powered drivetrain, a minimum flight distance of 50 miles, and no requirements for GPS Denied capabilities or radar evasion. The U.S. Government (USG) is seeking a precise 1:1 copy of the Shahed-136 in both form and fit, indicating this is likely for military training or simulation purposes.
