About this file

This document is an Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract for a sole source contract to procure T-38 Wing Tips for the Air Force. The solicitation (FA8212-25-R-0004) seeks to acquire two different NSN-coded wing tips: 2 units of NSN 1560-01-527-2194 and 8 units of NSN 1560-01-527-2195, both to be sourced from Northrup Grumman Corporation Systems Corporation. The contract amendment extends the solicitation period from April 14, 2025, to July 9, 2025 at 3:00 PM MST, and removes certain previously included clauses and attachments.

The contract will be a firm-fixed-price acquisition with specific delivery requirements, including origin inspection and acceptance, and compliance with ISO 9001-2015 quality standards. Delivery is required by July 31, 2028, with early and partial delivery accepted at no additional cost to the government. The wing tips are aluminum alloy and aluminum honeycomb materials, with multiple manufacturer part numbers listed. The solicitation is being administered by the Department of the Air Force, Directorate of Contracting at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, and is designated as a sole source contract under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1.
