ACS Replacement Bldg 9001 and 3220 Questions and Answers
• The bill of materials lists a total of (51) P3245-V cameras with multiple mounting options – conduit back box, recessed mount, and pendant wall mount – in the same quantities. Are these meant to be options or are all mounts required?
This is what was provided as a solution to 76 SWEG for the 38th EIG/EN. The primary requirement is all equipment will need to be compatible with Genetec software for both cameras and ACS equipment.
• Is a backup battery (UPS) needed for the system being installed in either building? If so, how long does it need to run?
Back up batteries for the ACS system are needed but only need to have a 2hr back up time as the system is on the backup bus in both buildings.
• Apart from the 1U Racks specified on the bill of materials, is there rack space available in the rooms where rack-mounted equipment (switches, NVRs, etc.) is located?
76 SWEG has rack space to mount the requested equipment. If additional equipment is part of the winning contractor’s solution, we can accommodate. As long as, it is not an abundant amount of extra equipment. (i.e. 2 or 3 per building could be accommodated)
