Question 1: What types of vehicles are going to be washed and approximately how many will be washed either daily, weekly, monthly or yearly?

Answer: Types of vehicles are portable air-conditioning and heater units, hydraulic jacks, parts trailers, work stands. Approximately 5-10 units daily.

Question 2: I am trying to determine if a standard car wash is needed or will there be larger vehicles such as buses, truck, pickups, 40 ft trailers etc?

Answer: Larger than a standard car wash. The largest is 8' x 22'. So an 18'W x 30'L x 12'H will accommodate all of them.

Question 3: Question 14 seems to indicate that this is more of an equipment wash. Is this equipment in addition to the cars that are to be washed?

Answer: Equipment. This is not a car wash.

Question 4: How big are the water heaters to be that are referenced under section 1.1.3?

Answer: The ones we have looked at are Sioux EN-175-H4-1800 and EN-175-H4-3000. One does not have to bid this specific equipment; it is just equipment we have seen in the past. Vendors need to identify what they believe is needed and we will evaluate that.

Question 5: Will you accept a closed loop reclaim system currently being installed at various bases here in Texas and other parts of the US?

Answer: We do not know the details of this system. If one quotes an alternative to what we have requested one may be technically disqualified.
