About this file

This is a Solicitation (Request for Proposal) from the Department of the Air Force for the remanufacture of F100-220 Rear Turbine Cases. The solicitation (FA812125R0021) is for multiple ordering periods covering an estimated 126 turbine cases across five ordering periods, with quantities ranging from 26-41 units per period. The turbine cases are nickel alloy components that provide structural support for the 3rd and 4th stage turbine rotor assembly and accelerate hot gases from the engine combustion chamber.

The solicitation is structured as a firm-fixed-price contract with delivery requirements of 8 units within 60 days after receipt of order, followed by 8 units every 30 days thereafter. The procurement includes both USAF and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) line items, with inspection and acceptance to occur at origin. The contract includes additional requirements such as ISO 9001-2015 compliance, Buy American Act considerations, Unique Item Identification (IUID) marking, and higher-level contract quality assurance. The solicitation is set to close on 30 June 2025, with multiple manufacturer part numbers accepted, including 31417 4062252, 62452 4062252, 77445 4062252, and 77445 4084863.
