About this file

This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) from the Department of the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) for the remanufacture of B-52 Jet Engine Fuel Pumps. The solicitation (FA811825Q0006) seeks a one-time firm fixed quantity contract for 25 fuel pumps (NSN: 2915-01-533-9141, Part Number 8439), with additional line items for over and above work and data. The government anticipates a sole source award to ITT Aerospace Controls, with delivery of 2 units every 60 days. The contract requires compliance with AS9100 quality standards, item unique identification (IUID) marking, and potential surge options.

Qualification requirements apply, and interested vendors must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) to the Source Development, Small Business Office. Contractors must have the capability to restore the end items to like-new condition, including all necessary packing and preservation. The solicitation includes provisions for government-furnished property, potential over and above work, and requires contractors to verify compliance with cybersecurity standards (NIST SP 800-171). The quotation is due by July 21, 2025, with offers expected to remain valid for 120 days. Pricing will be primarily evaluated based on cost, with the government reserving the right to request additional pricing information if adequate price competition is not established.
