SECOND: The contract data requirement list attachments (CDRL) DD 1423 are hereby revised and suprecedes the previous edition.

PART I - THE SCHEDULE
SECTION B
SUPPLIES OR SERVICES AND PRICES/COSTS
Assumptions
The contractor shall provide Services as defined in the attached Performance Work Statement to support C/KC135 Avionics Sustaining Engineering Services (ASES) with a twoyear basic contract period, four (4) twoyear options. Options to extend the term of contract may be awarded at the Governments discretion.
1) Ordering Period: (Basic period to begin upon date of contract award execution) (Option periods awarded at the Governments discretion)
Basic Estimated to be 03 Apr 23 through 02 Apr 25 Option 1 Estimated to be 03 Apr 25 through 02 Apr 27 Option 2 Estimated to be 03 Apr 27 through 02 Apr 29 Option 3 Estimated to be 03 Apr 29 through 02 Apr 31 Option 4 Estimated to be 03 Apr 31 through 02 Apr 33
2) The services and prototyping the government seeks are highly specialized to C/KC135 aircraft. The contractor must be capable of sustaining avionics systems. Rockwell Collins (also known as Collins Aerospace) is the original manufacture and integrator for over 95% of the C/KC135 avionics including the Communication Navigation Surveillance/Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM), Global Air Traffic Management (GATM) and Pacer CRAG (Compass, Radar and GPS) avionics modification that provide for an integrated avionics solution on C/KC135 aircraft.
3) The contract line item number (CLIN) structure allows for multiple task assignments to be awarded from single proposals and allows for multiple deliverables on an individual order without use of subcontract line item numbers (SubCLINs) to facilitate multiple funding appropriations when required.
The CLIN structure is not sequentially numbers, but instead allows for future CLINs if needed.
4) The minimum basic order will be for one month of CLIN 0002 Recurring Engineering Support.
5) Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available for the minimum order. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date for receipt of proposals. In the event the Government cancels this request, the Government has no obligation to reimburse for any costs.
6) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.2178, Option to Extend Services: If FAR 52.2178, Option to Extend Services, is exercised, within the terms of the clause stated herein, the basic contract prices specified in the existing contract ordering period immediately preceding the exercise of FAR
52.2178 will apply to all task orders issued under the Option to Extend Services. The CLIN structure for continued performance of services under the option will be incorporated via modification at the time of option exercise.
7.) CONTRACT APPEARANCE: The resulting contract may be awarded using a different contract writing system which may result in a different format or appearance. This contract may also be bilaterally reissued after award at the exercise of an option with a different format or appearance.
