FA800324Q0005 – CSTR Equipment Facilitator Solicitation Amendment 1 Response to Questions from Industry
Q: Is there groundwork for all 3 buildings, or are they going to maintain the systems in place?
A: no need for the contractor to assemble the equipment that will be fielded to the sites. Contractors would be expected to do function checks on components and if they need to assemble pieces to be able to do that, then yes that would be a part of their responsibility. The assets will likely require maintenance where positioned and that could be either in the storage area or potentially out in the field.
Q: How do they identify the instructions to offers?
A: located in the instruction to offerors section in the combo.
Q: Is a site visit required? If yes, what is required to arrange a site visit?
A: No site visit is required
Q: Is there an incumbent?
A: No, this is a new requirement
Q: Current FTE Count? Are there any vacancies?
A: No, this is a new requirement
Q: Will they have the need to drive any vehicles for work purposes?
A: Yes, but none require any additional licenses (than a standard driver’s license) except being able to drive a forklift.
