About this file
This document is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) that describes the requirements for the disposal of excess furniture and equipment from the USAFA Sijan Hall dormitories. The primary objectives are to clear the dormitory storage areas, create a complete inventory, prepare the excess items for turn-in, coordinate transportation, and dispose of the items through the proper Department Logistics Agency (DLA) guidelines.
The PWS outlines specific tasks the contractor must perform, including completing DLA paperwork and turn-in procedures, coordinating transportation and disposal of non-DLA items, and cleaning up the storage areas. Key deliverables include providing copies of DLA turn-in documentation, disposal receipts, and proof of donations. The contractor will have 90 days from contract award to clear the initial storage area, with a second phase to follow. The PWS also details constraints such as installation access requirements and work interruptions. This PWS is associated with a federal contract opportunity for the USAFA Sijan Hall Dormitory Furniture Disposal.
